CSU Park County Statement

Hello Park County Community,

We want to thank all of you for your support of Park County Extension. As many of you know, there is a global pandemic happening around COVID-19. As a program of Colorado State University, we have been working hard to come up with effective plans to flatten the curve of this epidemic in Colorado. With a major commitment to public safety, we have made the decision to suspend all extension programs, 4-H club meetings, and any face to face gatherings effective March 17, 2020, through the end of the CSU semester (approximately May 16th) when we will reevaluate.

If you have any questions about programs specifically, please feel free to contact our office. We will update our website below with cancellations of specific events as they happen. We know this creates some difficulties. However, we are working diligently to bring different programming to the community digitally.

Thank you very much for joining in the effort to flatten the curve in the spread of this virus. We will continue to update our website with any information from Park County, along with any helpful information from the CDC and other government entities. Please take care of your families, as that is our number one priority.

Take care,

Park County Extension Office

Bailey, Conifer and Evergreen area

There is a local woman who has a group of 27 volunteers who will make local food deliveries to seniors or others needing delivery.  Her name is Cincerri Fleetwood at 303-816-1224. She told me that she has volunteers to cover Shawnee, Bailey, Pine and Buffalo Creek. Her volunteers will pick up from King Soopers and Safeway in Conifer. Seniors will need to create an account at the store and use the “pick-up” option.  Do not use “Instant Cart”.
